Terms & Conditions

Wiggly Woodlice

These Terms & Conditions apply every time you access our website and/or place an order with Wiggly Woodlice. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
• You understand the care requirements of the species purchased.
• You accept responsibility for providing appropriate housing and conditions upon arrival.

By ticking the agreement box at checkout, you confirm acceptance of these terms in full.

2. Orders & Contract Formation

All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance.

You will receive an order confirmation email after placing your order. This does not constitute acceptance of the order.

A contract is formed only when your order is dispatched.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion.

3. Pricing & Availability

All prices are displayed in GBP (£).

Prices are subject to change without notice.

While we aim to ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. If an error is identified after an order is placed, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm how you wish to proceed.

All items are subject to availability.

4. Shipping

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy.

Key points include:

• Orders are typically dispatched within 48 hours, weather permitting.
• Live animals are shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
• We ship within the United Kingdom only.
• Postage refunds are not issued for delayed parcels outside of our control.

5. Live Animals

Every effort is made to select healthy stock and pack securely to ensure safe arrival.

Live animals are covered under our Live Arrival Guarantee only when the conditions outlined in our Shipping Policy are met.

We are not responsible for livestock losses occurring after the stated Live Arrival Guarantee window.

It is the buyer’s responsibility to research and provide appropriate care.

6. Cancellations & Returns

Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch.

Once dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.

Due to the nature of live animals, returns are not accepted.

Dry goods may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition. The buyer is responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty.

7. Liability Disclaimer

All products and services are provided “as is” and “as available.”

Wiggly Woodlice shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Loss of profits or business
• Losses arising from delays caused by courier services
• Losses resulting from incorrect care after delivery

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

8. Prohibited Use

You must not use this website to:

• Commit unlawful acts
• Transmit malicious software
• Interfere with website security
• Abuse or harass others

Violation of these conditions may result in termination of access.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.

Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
